Safe, stylish, and made for Aussie summers
If your pool area is looking rough, worn concrete, faded coatings, patchy textures, then you’ve probably thought about redoing the whole thing with new concrete or pavers. But that’s costly, messy, and can drag out for weeks.
Our pool surrounds resurfacing gives you a smarter, less invasive way to upgrade your space. We apply a textured, non-slip finish right over your existing concrete. No rip-up, no heavy demo, and no need to close off your yard for weeks. Just a clean, grippy surface that looks great and keeps your family safe.

Frequently Asked
Questions
- What types of pool surrounds do you work with?
We specialise in resurfacing concrete pool surrounds, including plain or broom-finished concrete, exposed aggregate, previously painted pool areas, and surrounds with tiled edges or coping. As long as the slab is structurally sound, we can resurface it. Whether it’s a DIY job gone wrong or 15-year-old concrete that’s seen better days, we’ve got it covered.
- Will the cracks in my pool surrounds come back after resurfacing?
They might, and here’s why.
There are two types of concrete: concrete that’s cracked… and concrete that will crack. We’ll fill any cracks or damage around your pool before resurfacing, but if the ground shifts or the slab moves again (which it often does), those cracks can come back through the coating.
No resurfacing system or decorative coating can stop concrete or the ground beneath it from moving. And for that reason, we don’t provide a warranty on crack repairs.
Ask any concreter and they’ll tell you the same thing: if they can’t guarantee a 100mm slab won’t crack, there’s no way we can guarantee a 3–5mm coating won’t show it.
We’ll be upfront about what to expect during the quote so there are no surprises.
- Can I choose colours and styles for my pool surrounds?
Absolutely.
We’ve got a bunch of colours & combinations. Popular pool finishes include Sandy Beach, Coral Reef and Denim. Lighter finishes also reduce heat retention, so they’re cooler underfoot. If you’re not sure what will suit your place, we’ll show you samples and help you pick something you’ll be stoked with.
- Is it slippery when wet?
The system is textured from the start, so it already has grip built in. It’s not just a smooth layer on top. That non-slip finish is ideal for wet feet and bare skin, which is exactly what you want around a pool.
We make sure it looks good and feels safe underfoot. No compromises.
- How long does pool surround resurfacing take?
Most pool surround projects are completed within 2–3 days, depending on the weather, the size and layout of the area, and the slab’s condition. Foot traffic is fine right after the final coat. We’ll walk you through the steps before we begin so you know what to expect.
- How long does pool surround resurfacing last?
We warranty the system for 5 years, but that doesn’t mean it only lasts 5 years.
It’s kind of like a car. If you look after it, keep it clean, and follow the maintenance guide we give you, it can last well beyond that.
Finished with 2 coats of UV-stable sealer, it’s built to handle the whole lot: heat, sun, water exposure and heavy use. We’ll also give you simple tips to keep it looking fresh for years to come.
