I’m originally from New Zealand and spent my early adult years chasing a career in professional cycling. When that chapter closed, I bounced between carpentry, the army, and a string of odd jobs—always looking for something meaningful to pour my energy into.
In 2019, I moved to Adelaide to focus on ultra-marathon running and ended up working for a small gardening business. That’s where my interest in business kicked off. Later that year, I launched a pressure washing business with just a machine and a mindset to do things properly. It’s since grown into a 20+ person team delivering high-quality surface solutions across Adelaide.
Our industry isn’t known for high standards—it’s unregulated, mostly cut corners, cowboys, and the classic “tradie” stereotype. From day one, I set out to do the opposite: care more, do better, and back every job we take on.
Right now, we’re focused on refining everything we do in Adelaide before opening up franchise opportunities to other honest, motivated people who want to build something they’re proud of and improve the community they operate in.
We started with one goal: do pressure cleaning the right way.

As more clients asked, “Can you do more with this concrete?”—we listened. Cleaning was great, but transformation was better.
So we built a new service to resurface tired concrete with long-lasting decorative coatings. No rip-outs, no mess—just smart, beautiful finishes that held up over time.
We introduced same-day epoxy floors built for garages, carports, and utility spaces. Fast, clean, and seriously tough. While others made epoxy painful, we made it easy—and our clients loved it.
With three specialized brands under one roof, we unified our services into one name: Surface Rescue.
One team, one promise—to rescue and restore every surface we touch. Now, we’re focussing on further improving our Adelaide operation before expanding nationwide.
