General FAQs - Questions Answered

1. What areas do you service?

We’re based in Adelaide and service the metro area and surrounding suburbs. If you’re unsure if we come to your area, just shoot us a message  we’re happy to let you know.

2. Do you do residential and commercial work?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a driveway at home or a warehouse floor that’s seen better days, we’ve got the tools, team and experience to handle both.

3. How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need done, but we keep things fair and transparent. We’ll look at the job, give you a proper quote (no surprises), and go from there.

4. How do I get a quote?

Easy — you can call, text, or fill out the quote form on our website. If it sounds like a job we can help with, we’ll line up a time for one of our techs to swing by, check out the surface, and walk you through your options. You’ll receive a written, fixed quote at the end of the consultation where you can decide what you’d like to do.

5. Are you a local company?

Yep we’re proudly South Aussie owned and operated. We live here, work here, and look after homes and businesses across Adelaide and surrounding areas. When you book us, you’re dealing with a local team who actually cares about doing a good job & turning you into a raving fan of Surface Rescue.

6. I’ve dealt with tradies before and haven’t been impressed — how are you different?

We get it  you’ve probably had someone rock up late, not return your calls, or leave a mess behind. We hear it all the time.
Here’s how we do things differently:

  • We show up when we say we will.
  • We communicate clearly  before, during and after the job.
  • We treat your place like it’s our own (and clean up like it too).
  • We do the job properly  no shortcuts, no half-done work.

We’re not perfect, but we take pride in what we do  and if something’s not right, we’ll make it right. That’s how we’ve built our reputation.

7. What’s the history of Surface Rescue?

Surface Rescue started back in 2019 — originally just offering exterior cleaning services around Adelaide. We built a reputation early on for showing up, doing the job right, and treating people’s homes with respect.

In 2023, after years of cleaning tired concrete, we expanded into concrete resurfacing — helping clients not just clean their surfaces, but restore and improve them. Then in early 2024, we added epoxy flooring to the mix to round out the service offering.

By 2025, we were running three separate brands across cleaning, resurfacing, and epoxy… and it just made sense to bring it all under one roof. That’s when Surface Rescue was born — a single name with one mission: to rescue tired surfaces and do it better than anyone else.

We’re still proudly Adelaide-based, but we’ve got plans to take what we do nationwide. Same values. Same quality. Bigger reach.

8. How do I pay?

We take a deposit upfront to lock your job into the schedule. The remaining balance is paid once the work’s done and you’re happy with it.
We accept bank transfer, card, or cash — whatever’s easiest for you.

9. Are you insured?

Yes — we’re fully insured with $20 million public liability cover.
All of our techs are trained to work safely and treat your property with care, but in the rare case something goes wrong, you’re protected.

10. What happens if I’m not satisfied with the work?

We’re really big on setting expectations up front, but if you feel something isn’t right, let us know — if necessary, we’ll organise one of our team to come by and take a look.

Depending on the service, we provide clear installation terms, warranty info, pre-start guides, and maintenance tips so you know what to expect before we start.

If it’s something we missed, and it’s not covered in the documentation — and it’s genuinely on us — we’ll make it right. Simple as that.

11. Do I need to be home when the work is being done?

Not necessarily.

As long as we’ve got clear access to the area, along with power and water, we can get the job done without anyone needing to be home.

If there’s anything specific we need to know (like pets, gates, or shared driveways), just let us know beforehand — otherwise, we’ll handle it from there.
